Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda (optional)
- 1 lemon, zested and cut into wedges
Shrimp:
- 2 pounds raw extra jumbo shrimp (16-20), peeled and deveined
- Chopped fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the marinade: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, dill weed, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, baking soda, and lemon zest. Whisk together.
- Prep the shrimp: Pat dry the shrimp, then coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
- Air fry the shrimp: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket with space between each. Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes until pink, curled, and slightly browned.
