Description

Baked Sweet Potato Fries are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional french fries. These crispy fries are seasoned to perfection and make a perfect side dish or snack.

Sweet Potato Fries:

  • 1 sweet potato per person
  • 2 teaspoons of cornstarch per large potato
  • 1 Tablespoon of olive oil (or coconut oil) per large potato
  • Spices of choice: cinnamon-sugar, salt, cayenne, curry, pumpkin pie spice, garlic powder, etc.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare the sweet potatoes: Wash, peel, and thinly slice the sweet potatoes. Toss the slices with cornstarch until coated.
  3. Add seasonings: Place the slices in a bowl, add olive oil and desired seasonings, and mix well.
  4. Bake the fries: Arrange the sweet potato slices on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Flip the fries and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until crispy.
