Chicken Leg Toast

Ingredients needed to prepare Chicken leg recipes

Fresh chicken drumstick2 qty
diced onion1/4 cup
diced carrot1/4 cup
diced celery1/4 cup
freshly ground black pepper to tasteas per requirement
saltas per requirement
chicken broth2 cup
fresh thyme leaves1 teaspoon 
lemon zest1 teaspoon 
creme fraiche or heavy cream1/3 cup
cayenne pepper to tasteas per requirement
large eggs2 nos
thick slices day old French bread (1 to 1 1/2 inch thick)2 nos.
butter for browning bread, plus a teaspoon for greasing pan1 tablespoon
grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese2 tablespoon

For optional “Dragon Syrup”

1. maple syrup — ¼ cup

2. Sriracha sauce — 1 tablespoon 

3. cayenne pepper — ½ teaspoon

Directions to cook Chicken leg recipes

  1. Get together and mix well chicken drumsticks, carrots, onions celery and broth in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over high heat. and then reduce heat to medium-low level, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. turn chicken drumstick another side over and cook another 20 minutes.
  2. Get chicken and keep in a plate. Allow to cool, wrap and transfer into the refrigerator till it is needed.
  3. Reduce the cooking liquid to 1/3 cup and turn heat to medium-high. Strain liquid into mixing bowel. press some of the cooked vegetables through sieve. Season gravy with black pepper, salt, thyme leaves, lemon zest, and cayenne, add creme fraiche and eggs and whisk everything together until a smooth batter forms
  4. Place bread in a shallow baking dish as large as to fit the slices and pour over the butter. Toss it several times to get perfect cook and then wrap and place in the fridge for sometime so that all the butter can be absorved.
  5. Next, heat the oven to 400 degree F. Line the baking sheet with foil and lightly grease with some butter.
  6. Take a small skillet over medium heat and put some butter into it. Brown the bread few minutes both side and place the bread onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Now it is the time to place chicken drumstick on the top of each piece of bread. brush over the any excess butter. Sprinkle some salt , dust with parmesan cheese, lastly apply the cayenne.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven till it gets brown perfectly, almost 30 to 35 minutes
  9. Take a bowel, mix togather maple syrup, sriracha hot sauce and cayenne pepper.
  10. And now your Chicken leg toast dish is ready to be served drizzling with dragon syrup.

Note: For a completely savory dish, top chicken leg toast with a cream sauce, chicken gravy, or mushroom sauce instead of dragon syrup.
