OATS
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
FROSTING TOPPING (optional)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar (more or less to taste)
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- OATS: In a bowl, combine the oats with milk, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix together well.
- Store: Place in an airtight container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 3 to 4 hours.
- FROSTING: The next morning, mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and milk to make a glaze.
- Serve: Drizzle the glaze on top of the oats and enjoy!
