Description

These Halloween Eyeball Jello Shots are a fun and spooky party treat perfect for Halloween celebrations. Made with strawberry-flavored jello, red berry vodka, and topped with creepy bloodshot eye candies, they are sure to impress your guests with their eerie appearance and delicious taste.

Ingredients

Scale

Jello Mixture

  • 1 Box strawberry jello (3 ounce package)
  • 1¼ Cups boiling water
  • ¾ Cup red berry flavored vodka

Decoration

  • 9 bloodshot eye candies

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the jello: In a large measuring cup, stir together the strawberry jello powder and 1¼ cups of boiling water until the jello is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear.
  2. Add the vodka: Stir in ¾ cup of red berry flavored vodka thoroughly to combine with the dissolved jello mixture.
  3. Fill shot glasses: Carefully fill 9 shot glasses with the jello and vodka mixture, leaving a small amount of space at the top to prevent spilling during handling.
  4. Refrigerate to set: Place the filled shot glasses on a baking sheet for easier transport, and refrigerate them for at least 2 hours or until the jello shots are fully set.
  5. Add eyeball candies: Just before serving, gently top each jello shot with one bloodshot eye candy to create a spooky Halloween effect.

Notes

  • Use a baking sheet when filling the shot glasses to avoid spills and make transferring to the refrigerator easier.
  • Add the candy eyeballs only right before serving so they stay firm and do not soften.
  • Avoid adding too much alcohol as it can prevent the jello from setting properly.
