- 4 Small Potatoes (purple potatoes, Yukon gold, or baby reds preferred), chopped
- 2 Heads Broccoli, chopped
Meat
- 1 Pork Kielbasa, sliced
For Roasting
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1-2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
Honey Garlic Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 ½ Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard (or Stone Ground Mustard)
- ½ teaspoon Dried Basil
- ½ teaspoon Dried Oregano
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for roasting the ingredients.
- Make Honey Garlic Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, unsalted butter, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, Dijon mustard, dried basil, and dried oregano until well combined. Set aside 1-2 tablespoons of this sauce for serving later.
- Prepare Potatoes: Spread 1 tablespoon olive oil on a baking sheet, then add the chopped sweet potato and small potatoes. Sprinkle with kosher salt and a pinch of black pepper, then toss them to coat evenly.
- Add Kielbasa and Brush Sauce: Place sliced pork kielbasa on the baking sheet with potatoes. Brush the kielbasa generously with the honey garlic sauce, reserving some for serving.
- Bake Potatoes and Kielbasa: Bake the sheet pan in the preheated oven for 20 minutes to cook the potatoes and begin roasting the kielbasa.
- Prepare Broccoli: While the potatoes and kielbasa bake, drizzle olive oil on the chopped broccoli and season with a pinch of black pepper and ¼ teaspoon salt. Toss to coat.
- Add Broccoli to Sheet Pan: After the initial 20 minutes, add the broccoli to the sheet pan alongside the other ingredients. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
- Finish and Serve: Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Brush any remaining honey garlic sauce over the kielbasa or drizzle it over the whole dish to serve. Enjoy warm.
Notes
- For best results, use a mix of purple potatoes, Yukon gold, or baby red potatoes for the small potatoes.
- Reheat leftovers in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
- Adjust salt and pepper seasonings according to your preference.
- To make this recipe gluten-free, ensure the kielbasa used is certified gluten-free.
