Wraps
- 4 large tortillas (burrito-size)
- 10-12 good quality frozen chicken tenders
- 8 thin slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked, chopped
- 2-3 cups green leaf lettuce, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 1 small cucumber, cubed
- Dill pickle chips
- Green onions, chopped
Spicy Honey Mustard Dressing
- 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons mayo
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Dressing: Whisk together Greek yogurt, mayo, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and sriracha if using until smooth. Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or sriracha as desired.
- Cook the Chicken: Air fry the frozen chicken tenders according to the package instructions or about 12 minutes in an air fryer, shaking the basket halfway through until crispy and cooked through.
- Prepare the Salad: In a medium bowl, combine green leaf lettuce, julienned carrots, and cubed cucumber. Add about half of the honey mustard dressing and toss well to coat all the vegetables.
- Assemble the Wrap: Lay a large tortilla flat and spread a generous dollop of honey mustard dressing over it. Add two slices of provolone cheese and 1 slice of chopped cooked bacon. Layer on a pile of the dressed salad, 2-3 cooked chicken tenders, 3-4 dill pickle chips, and a sprinkle of chopped green onions. Drizzle a little more dressing over the fillings.
- Roll the Wrap: Fold in the short sides of the tortilla, then fold over the long edge, tucking it tightly under the filling while rolling to form a compact burrito-style wrap.
- Toast the Wrap (Optional): Heat a small amount of olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Place the wrap seam side down and toast for 30-60 seconds per side until golden brown and crispy, then remove and slice or serve as is.
Notes
- Use good quality frozen chicken tenders that cook well in the air fryer for best results.
- Adjust the spiciness of the dressing by increasing or omitting sriracha according to your preference.
- To make it vegetarian, omit the chicken and bacon or replace with plant-based alternatives.
- For extra freshness, add tomatoes or avocado slices inside the wrap.
- The toasting step is optional but highly recommended for a crispy exterior and melted cheese.
