Crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside—these Keto Avocado Fries are a delicious low-carb snack or appetizer. Coated in a flavorful pork rind crust, they are baked until golden and served with a zesty lime crema.

Avocado Fries:

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 cups pork rinds
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • olive oil spray

Easy Lime Crema:

  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare Avocado: Slice the avocado in half lengthwise, remove the pit, slice into wedges, remove skin.
  2. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400F.
  3. Create Pork Rind Crumbs: Blend pork rinds to crumbs, place in a bowl.
  4. Set Up Dredging Stations: Prepare three bowls for almond flour, eggs, and pork rind crumbs.
  5. Dredge Avocado Slices: Coat avocado in almond flour, egg wash, and pork rind crumbs.
  6. Bake Avocado Fries: Bake at 400F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Prepare Lime Crema: Mix sour cream and lime juice.

Notes

  • To make non-keto, use all-purpose flour and panko breadcrumbs.
