Ingredients
For the Matcha Base:
1 tsp matcha powder
1/4 cup hot water (not boiling!)
1/2 cup coconut milk (full-fat for creaminess!)
1/2 cup sparkling water (for a light, airy texture)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
For the Coconut Cloud Foam:
1/4 cup coconut cream (chilled!)
1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (or coconut condensed milk for dairy-free option)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For Garnish (Optional but Fancy!):
Dusting of matcha powder
Drizzle of honey
Instructions
- Make the Matcha Base: In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder and hot water until smooth and frothy. Pour the whisked matcha into a glass and add coconut milk and honey (if using). Stir well. Slowly pour in sparkling water to keep the mixture light and bubbly.
- Make the Coconut Cloud Foam: In a small mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to whip the chilled coconut cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until thick and fluffy.
- Assemble & Serve: Carefully layer the whipped coconut foam over the matcha base. Garnish by dusting matcha powder over the foam and drizzling honey on top. Serve immediately for the best presentation and freshness.
