Main Brownie Mix:
- 1/2 cup (113 gr) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups (250 gr) coarsely chopped white chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup (50 gr) granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups (180 gr) all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp (15 gr) matcha powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Topping:
- 1/2 cup (70 gr) whole almonds, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease and flour an 8-inch/20 cm square pan. Set aside.
- Melt butter and chocolate: Melt butter and white chocolate until smooth using a bain marie or microwave. Let it cool slightly.
- Prepare dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Mix wet ingredients: Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Combine: Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until incorporated.
- Bake: Spread batter in the pan, sprinkle with almonds, and bake for 20 minutes. Cool before slicing.
