  • 2 (8 ounce) blocks halloumi cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • black pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil

For the Hot Honey:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the halloumi: Whisk the eggs in a bowl, coat the halloumi with the eggs. In another bowl, mix the panko, parmesan, sesame seeds, paprika, and pepper.
  3. Crumble coating: Dredge each halloumi piece in the crumb mixture and place on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10-12 minutes, flip, and bake for another 10 minutes until crispy.
  4. Make the hot honey: Combine honey with chili flakes and salt.
