Cheese Crisps:
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese or a blend of shredded mozzarella and parmesan
Pepperoni Topping:
- 12 slices pepperoni
For Serving:
- 1/4 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
Instructions
- Cheese Crisps: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shredded cheese in flat piles, spaced apart. Cook for about a minute until bubbling.
- Assembly: Flip each crisp, pepperoni side down, for 30 seconds. Transfer to a plate, pepperoni side up. Serve with tomato sauce for dipping. Repeat until all are cooked.
When the cheese starts to bubble, place a slice of pepperoni on top of each cheese pile. Cook until the edges are crispy.
Microwave Instructions: Arrange cheese and pepperoni on parchment paper on a plate. Microwave for 1-1.5 minutes until crispy.
Oven Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake cheese and pepperoni piles for 4-6 minutes until crispy.
