Description

This Slow Cooker Birria Ramen combines the rich flavors of traditional birria with the comfort of ramen noodles, creating a delicious and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

Stew Beef:

  • 2 pounds stew beef

Aromatics:

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

Birria Seasoning:

  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope birria seasoning packet

Liquid:

  • 4 cups water or beef stock

Ramen Noodles:

  • 10.75 ounce box ramen noodles

Toppings:

  • soft boiled egg, cilantro, onion, lime, jalapeno

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker: Add stew beef, onion, garlic, birria seasoning packet, and water to the slow cooker.
  2. Slow Cook: Cook on low for 4-6 hours until the beef is tender.
  3. Add Ramen Noodles: 20 minutes before serving, add the ramen noodles and cook until tender.
  4. Serve: Serve the birria ramen in bowls and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • You can add sriracha for extra spice.
  • If you can’t find a box of ramen noodles, you can use 3 packs of ramen noodles instead.
